Representative Jones received a C rating on our 2016 legislative scorecard.
Rep. Jones represents Cooper, Moniteau, Boone and Cole Counties in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first two-year term November 2010.
Rep. Jones is widely considered by people who pay attention to state government to be one of the most effective legislators in Missouri. Rep. Jones is the consumate Capitol insider and has been described as the "most well-connected man in Jefferson City".
He resides in Columbia with his wife and children where he earns a living practicing law with his brother Clayton. He is the son of former State Rep. Kenny Jones.

HB 1891 prohibits the withholding of earnings from public employees for dues. MAF supports giving public sector employees the choice on how and if their union dues are collected — MAF Supports.

HB 1892 — “Narcotics Control Act” — establishes a Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP). MAF opposes HB 1892 because it attempts to violate medical privacy by establishing a compulsory government database to warehouse the schedule 2 - 4 prescription information of Missourians, a clear violation of principled, limited government — MAF Opposes.
